Sniff
The doctor says it's allergies and some virus thing. Not strep. Nothing I can take for it but gargle with salt water etc. My throat feels like crap and my nose is runny. I got some horrible crappy orange flavored zinc lozenges. I can't stand lozenges. I hate menthol, lemon, cherry, powdery orange... all disgusting. You'd think in this day and age they'd have improved the taste of those things. I want them to taste like those chocolate See's Candies Little Pops (I ate two boxes of chocolate ones at xmas time) or how about Jelly Belly flavors (mmmm cotton candy)? How hard could it be!
My indoor thermometer is reading 79 degrees right now. It's probably because the dryer is running but nevertheless it's still damn hot in here! It was nice and hot out today too. A record high of 82 degrees. We're in the middle of a heat wave out here in sunny Northern California. Generally it's not nearly this hot in March. My cat was just sitting on my foot. I had to kick her off, it was so hot!
I'm excited that it's almost been a whole year since I started this blog and planted my garden. My pink azaleas are blooming and my fuschia azaleas are getting ready to bloom. My jasmine plant is also starting to bloom which is really cool. And the entry that started it all, my wilting lavendar, has recovered wonderfully. I'll post a photo of it soon.
