New Poll - Where would you live?
Okay my last poll was too morbid even for me, so I deleted and started over. This one has to do with where you'd live if you had to move and why. I ask this because I don't think I want to be in the bay area forever. I like it here but at some point I'm need to branch out and live in another area. Somewhere more affordable. I definitely want to own a house one day still.
I think part of the reason I cling to this area so much is that I spent my whole life moving around the world with my dad who was a civil engineer. I lived in Africa, the Caribbean and Asia. I've also visited many countries. While I wouldn't trade it for anything in the whole world, there's something nice about having a place you can call home. A place that you can say you're from. California is the closest thing I've got to that. I moved here when I was 15 and this is the longest place I've ever lived. I love the ocean though and want to be somewhere close to the water. I can't imagine living in the middle of the country where the ocean wasn't close enough to drive to (and I don't mean drive to in 5 days). There's just something beautiful and calming about the water. I probably picked that up from living on an island for 2 years when I was a kid.
I still have the travel bug in me and the itch to do new things. Which is also probably why I have a hard time "settling" down. I don't want to just settle. If you know what I mean. So for now, I stay here and ponder other possiblities.
Don't forget to take the poll. I only had ten spaces for options to I picked the first ten cities that came to mind. You can always do a write in!

Who says morbid is a bad thing? Bring it on. Now you've got me curious...what could be so morbid that you'd delete it? Hmmmm...pet cremation verses traditional burial? Or...uh, nevermind. Too morbid. ;)
