Fish Sticks and Green Jello

Brody is a little boy kitty that lives in the building next to mine. I first met him a couple of months back when he used to run out to hang out with Toby in the mornings when he was out back doing his morning you know what. Toby and Brody get along great. Brody lets Toby chase him and he puts up with him sniffing his butt all the time. That's some love for ya. Brody is the friendliest cat you could ever meet. I'm suprised someone hasn't run off with him! For a long time there I wasn't sure he had a home since he doesn't wear a collar. One day when Johnny was over walking the dogs he met Brody's owner. Brody's owner has a dog so it makes sense why he has no fear of them at all.

I'm not a big cat fan, I've said this before. Even though I do own a cat. But seeing Brody and Toby play together makes me wish I had a cat like him. My cat Olivia, HATES Toby with a passion. In fact they hate each other. Toby used to be afraid of her but now he just chases her if she's bitchy to him. I guess she deserves it sometimes so there you go. Either way, it would be nice if they got along better. Olivia loves to drive me crazy too. She's a smart cat but she does things for attention that makes me nuts.

Case in point, just now she tried to jump up on me while I'm in my leather chair. She of course can't make it since she's aimed at the skinny little armrest. So instead she hangs there by her claws on the arm, waving the other arm in the air, finally catching MY arm with it. She then falls backwards putting a HUGE scratch in the arm of the chair and a one on MY arm as well. Ouch! Bad bad kitty! Sigh. Don't even get me started on the five tons of cat hair that sits on everything around my house like a layer of dust. Toby doesn't shed! Uh uh!
