Quick Update

Sorry for the lack of posts. Been pretty busy being out and about.

I saw some live shows:
The Crystal Method and Paul Oakenfold (weekend before last) - Overpriced and Zzzzzz.
The Hives (on Sunday) - Wow. Fantastic live band! I must go buy their new album immediately!

I saw some movies:
I, Robot - Entertaining
The Village - Disappointing
Dodgeball - Pretty funny

I looked at some apartments in San Francisco:
Lofts in Potrero Hill - Nice but not quite right
Apartment in Potrero Hill - Nice, wrong location
Lofts in SOMA - Eh
Mission Place in SOMA - Very very nice, very pricey

Went to the annual company picnic at the Beach Boardwalk last Saturday in Santa Cruz. What a beautiful day! Rode some rides, ate some food, had some fun.

I'm headed to Las Vegas on Thursday and I can't wait! I'm dying for a nice mini vacation. There will be about ten or more people in the two groups I'm going with. Should be a blast. I'll have more to report when I get back!

Sorry to post and run but it's late and I'm beat. Had a late workout tonight. I promise more exciting posts next week.

Dodge Ball Totally kicked ass and you are lying. I was there with you and you laghed through the entire movie. Change your review.

Oh, I saw I Robot after talking to you and I've got to say that next time I get a movie recommendation from you I'm going to have to get a second opinion. This movie sucked! I almost walked out twice but wasn't finished with my popcorn so I decided to stick it out and count the cracks in the paint on the chair in front of me.

First of all Will Smith gave the worst portrayal of a cop in the future since Jean-Claude Van Dame in that Timecop piece-o-Sh' This movie was formed around his own persona and there was no characterization whatsoever. Second the product placement was particularly annoying in this film. I felt like the movie was being stopped for commercial breaks.

I just saw the Manchurian Candidate and while it's not a great film it's 100 times better than I Robot in that there's actually a narrative that follows some sense of plot development.
