Coachella Picks Take Two

Okay the Cocteau Twins canceled... BOOOO! BOOOOOOOOOOO! I really wanted to see them again but they weren't going to tour so that was a big indicator that this was iffy to begin with. Particularly since they love to fight and break up. The lineup seems to have changed a tad too.

My picks are marked with **. If you have any recommendations for me please leave a comment. Also let me know what YOUR picks are, even if you're not going! I'll be going both days. Oh and just because I picked the bands on here doesn't mean I'll necessarily see them all since Saturday we'll most likely go later to the show then we will on Sunday. I just realize how "indie rock'd" out I'll be after this weekend. Like one long episode of the O.C.! Sweet!

Finally, does anyone have any info yet on the lineup and times? I assume that this list is a rough idea of how the lineups will go but since there will be multiple shows going on at the same time it may be tricky (i hate that part. you'd be watching one must see show while another was going on. i jumped between the white stripes and thievery corporation year before last, they were both great though!)

Blood Brothers are pretty good. If anything they are hilarious to listen to and even better they are from Seattle!!

Zap Mama is incredible. My boyfriend introduced me to them recently and their newest album, Ancestry in Progress, it was extremely impressive. They do a lot of the rhythm and harmony making sounds with their mouths. It's really unique and unusual.

I am looking forward to seeing Weezer again (this is my 3rd time seeing them). Plus I really can't wait to see Wilco and Rilo Kiley, I listen to both on the Radio and think they are the wave of the future
