Jess posted about this song by Lamb in her blog. You can read a bit more about it there. I realized when listening to this song tonight that Nicole Kidman sings the first line or two from this song in Moulin Rouge. I'm not sure if that little tidbit is on either of the Moulin Rouge soundtracks and I can't remember what scene it's in but I know it's in there.
Anyways, the lyrics to this song are incredible. If you've never read them you should and if you've never heard this song you should download it. It's so damn sappy. I love it. Thanks Jess for posting about this. You have the BEST taste in music. I'm so glad you're making cds for my cousin because I know she'll be getting great music.

i don't remember the song being in the movie, but i just thought it was the most beautiful thing! yeah i try my best to share the music with ANYONE that will listen!
Okay I figured it out...
Satine sings a bit from Gorecki after Zidler confronts her on the balcony for sneaking off with Christian during play rehearsals.
She sings this:
"If I should die this very moment
I wouldn't fear
For I've never known completeness
Like being here
Wrapped in the warmth of you
Loving every breath..." then goes into a line from the song "Come What May".
She then falls ill and Zidler is forced to go see the Duke and tell him that she's "confessing". They segue into that silly Like a Virgin bit in the Gothic Tower.

yeah! I loved that bit from Moulin Rouge,but I didn't know it was a proper song! fromthe film i could record that bit..she finishes saying "why live life from dream to dream and dread the day" omg how true is that sentence! anyway,so somehow i downloaded a ChillOut CD (The Galaxi Chill Out -such a cool cd btw!)and I realised it had that song..i was like "aawww" so i tried to see the lyrics from that CD but didnt find any,so I went to google.com and I wrote the first bit of the song "If I should die..." and I came into that page!! When I read it was from Lamb and the song was called Gorecki 'does any1 know what it means??' I downloaded it and right now I'm listening to it..I love it! So truthfull.. just in the mood I feel today! Thank you for helping me in some weird and random way to find that song! Oh and I wanna say sorry if my english is bad..
