6/6/6

I can't possibly let this day go by without some mention of the date. Come on! Today is of course, the opening day of the remake of The Omen. A movie which I actually saw when I was um six I believe. My mom was really into horror movies and didn't like to watch them alone. Hey, who would? Anyways suffice to say I got to see some crazy sh*t when I was a kid. I'm not sure if that's why I'm such a huge horror fan today but I am! I will say though that I don't know if horror movies really do rot the brain as they say, when you're a kid. I saw Night of the Living Dead when I was a kid and it scared the crap out of me but my favorite horror genre is zombie films. The scarier the better!

Also I have to mention. I had this thing called Night Terrors when I was a kid. That's what the doctor called it. Basically I'd wake up in the middle of the night screaming my head off for no reason. Scared the crap out of my parents on a regular basis. This went on for a couple of years too. I even had bouts of sleep walking and sleep talking for years after this as well. The night it all started? My parents had taken me to see The Muppet Movie. Those muppets are twisted I tell you... twisted! So yeah, go ahead and take your kids to see The Omen. It won't screw them up at all! :D

Anyways, I was reading some articles about how today the world's going to end and mom's are trying to reschedule their births so they don't occur on this date. Blah blah blah. Tell me something interesting. The orginial Omen movie wasn't that great btw. Maybe for it's time it was "shocking" but overall, snooze fest. You know what still scares the bejeezus out of me from that genre? The Excorcist. Go rent that, particularly the re-release of it, if you wanna sleep with one eye open tonight. It's particularly scary for those of us that grew up in a religious household. If you have any sort of belief of Hell or the Devil at all or even demons, then yup, this will do the trick.

Tuesday's Horrorscope

Hey my Tuesday horrorscope is actually pretty cool. I just like posting this stuff because if this was actually real then SWEET. But since it's generally not it still sounds good in theory. I'm just trying to be positive dangit. The power of positive thinking right? And if it IS real... then... eerie. :D And so far no hot Monday and I'm betting my Tuesday isn't going to be hot either. Maybe Wed - Fri will show an upswing? TBD!

And what the hell AM I waiting for anyways?

Happy Birthday to ME!

So another birthday... yeah. This year I went to Andalu with some friends, a bit more low key than last year and some Mission bar hopping. I had a great time. :) Although for the first time ever I'd have to say that I didn't enjoy turning a year older. I think I've finally hit that age where I'm like ohman I don't want to get any older. I'm not seeing the upside here at all. I've gone from yay, to neutral, to ugh as far as birthdays go. Sigh. Anyways, nothing else new and exciting to report. Maybe I'll have my crap together more by next Birthday so I'll have a ton of exciting life things to report! I guess no news is better than bad news as they say. My friend Shannon posted an awesome monkey birthday photo for me on my Myspace page. I love it. So here, I'll share it with you.

Happy Birthday to Me. :)

Oh and to those of you have been bugging me about posting on my blog more regularly, I plan on doing so. So check back. :p
