Finally new photos and a new post!

My Birthday bash this year was at Cha Cha Cha for the dinner portion then we headed on over to the Argus to see Colin and co. spin. Bizhan took a lot of these photos and Mark added his set as well. I think they're pretty awesome pics!

So I finally got around to trying this thing out. It's pretty slick. I got two vastly different results from slightly different photos. Keep in mind that I'm half caucasian and half asian when viewing these. I see the resemblances more in the first set of results. I bet that means that I identfiy with my white half more or something because even in the second set of photos the first person I thougth that photo might resemble was Hilary Duff. I did grow up with my dad from age 9 on so that might be part of it. Interesting...


These were the first set of results I got. Smiling, no teeth.




Here's a photo I don't really like. What's interesting to note though is the vast difference in look alike results I got. Almost all asians on this one! It's probably picking this up from the shape of my eyes in this photo.

Since Dave sent me such a perfect headshot photo I ran his too!! :D



You get to pick which 8 of say 10-12 you most look like. Dave's said he also looked 63% like Barry Pepper. I just didn't see much of a resemblance though so I didn't pick it. He also was pegged as a look-alike for Rajneesh. I had no clue who that was until I looked him up so I picked Jake Gyllenhaal instead. Better choice I think. :)

LAYER FIVE:
-- Smoke: Smoked from 16 - 26, quit for for a few years, smoked again until 30, then quit for good.

-- Sing: I only sing when I'm alone, in the car. So I'm not singing now!
-- Take a shower everyday: Ugh, yes! Who doesn't?
-- Do you think you've been in love: I think I was once... maybe. But then if I was maybe it would have worked out better than it did? Or not? Who knows.
-- Want to go to college: I went to college and got my BA in Political, Legal and Economic analysis. So pre-law in so many words. I minored in Visual Communication aka film. I'm not a huge fan of sitting in classes, although I like the idea of taking more classes. I take classes now.
-- Liked high school: Parts of it. As a whole though it sucked. I hated the classes. Hanging out with skaters was good times though.
-- Want to get married: Yes
-- Believe in yourself: Overall I do. I do get discouraged and wonder what I'm doing but I know that I'll (hopefully) wind up somewhere great.
-- Get motion sickness: Sometimes in cars.
-- Think you're attractive: Sure, why not.
-- Think you're a health freak: Not at all. I wish I was too, I strive to be.
-- Get along with your parent(s): My dad yes, My stepmom sometimes.
-- Play an instrument: Classical Piano. Took lessons on and off for 12 years. I did a recital in front of the Prime Minister of Dominica when I was 12. Pretty cool.

LAYER SIX: In the past month...
-- Drank alcohol: Yes, last weekend at Anon Salon

-- Done a drug: No.
-- Made Out: Nope, gross.
-- Gone on a date: No.
-- Gone to the mall?: Dude, the mall is my friend. So yes.
-- Eaten an entire box of Oreos?: No. An entire box of Fat Free Smart ones Devil's food cookies. Yes.
-- Eaten sushi: Not in the last month even though sushi is one of my faves. I don't go as often as I used to though. That would require leaving the house.
-- Been on stage: Nope.
-- Been dumped: No.
-- Gone skating: No. But I love it.
-- Made homemade cookies: Nope.
-- Gone skinny dipping: Nope.
-- Dyed your hair: The usual purple.
-- Stolen Anything: Nope.

LAYER SEVEN: Ever...
-- Played a game that required removal of clothing: Yes.
-- Been trashed or extremely intoxicated: Yes. I'm sure I must have thrown up on you at some point.
-- Been caught "doing something": Almost!
-- Been called a tease: As a joke I hope.
-- Gotten beaten up: It was half and half.
-- Shoplifted: Yes. Teenage years, local drugstore.
-- Changed who you were to fit in: So many times! Started in High School and evolved from there. I'm particularly bad when it comes to boyfriends.

LAYER EIGHT:
-- Age you hope to be married: By 36. if I want to have kids. If not, then whatever.
-- Numbers and Names of Children: I'd like to have 1 or 2 kids. I say that now but who knows, I may also die alone. If I had a girl maybe Violet. A boy, who knows.
-- Describe your Dream Wedding: Small, but pretty. Somewhere really nice. Not over the top but memorable of course. Maybe an evening wedding. Maybe I'll elope. :)

-- Where you want to go to college: Already went. To Mills College in Oakland, CA. I take UCSC Extension Classes though and may wind up getting my MBA one day.

-- Number of times my name has appeared in the newspaper?: Once when I was a kid.
-- Number of scars on my body: Not too many. I have a scar from a surgery that I had when an ovarian cyst ruptured. They removed one of my ovaries and I got my appendix out for free. Two for one deal.
-- Number of things in my past that I regret: Way too many to list here. WAYYY too many.
